Australia-NSW-Sydney (Vivid festival)

Just a short post from me today. Wanna share with you a few photos taken in Sydney during this time last year. This was during the Sydney Vivid, a festival of light, music and ideas. It was lots of fun! Many things to explore along the darling harbour and circular quay. Very bright and colourful.

One of the shows is called ‘Lighting of the Sails’. The Sydney Opera House was brightened up by lights, forming pattens and with music in the background, these patterns kept changing. The music and lightings were really synchronised creating such a captivating and interesting show. There were also many other activities to explore and experience throughout the night! • =^-^= so lucky, looks like a spectacular event, I can imagine you stayed there for hours! Was is crowded with photographer during the event?

      • Yeah very thankful for the experience 🙂 Yes! It was SO crowded! It was difficult just to move around. Lots of people taking photographers too!

  • Wow you are great. This photos are soooooooooo cool. Love it. I must go there next year. Ecetera has a lot of photos of this event. He is in my nomination.

    • Thanks so much Erwin! I am happy you like the photos 🙂 Yes, you should. It is really interesting! I enjoyed the festival so much! Thanks for letting me know – I will the blog out 🙂

    • In some shows, quite difficult because it was so crowded but for the above opera house photos, I was fortunate enough to secure the vantage point 🙂 But maybe because it was getting late. I was there around 10.30pm.

      • Yes I did! I have been to Sydney many times now – it feels like annual trip. I have few good friends there that I loved to visit 🙂 Those photos were taken without tripod actually…Only recently I discovered the power of tripod! I won’t miss it anymore.

      • Ohh you must have a very steady hand. Great work. Yes tripod are a big help. Badly that I use it only with filming. Pros are using it all the time. The camera is nearly welded to it. 🙂 I think it’s just to get used to it, but only for landscape no street photography.

      • Sorry for taking so long to reply! Thanks so much! Yeah, tripod is awesome for landscape. I need to use it more often! and experiment with it more too.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
