More photos of foliage

More photos of foliage. I love photographing trees in Japan. I find that the leaves in Japan are really delicate – making the leaves such a nice contrast against the tougher texture of the trunks. Just like in the first photo here, I see them as glowing!

My tour guide in Osaka mentioned to me that just like how Japan is very orderly and everything is according to the rules, the weather is also very specific and clear. One would experience summer in the summer, autumn in autumn, winter in winter and spring in spring…unlike in Melbourne where weather can be unpredictable and one can experience all four seasons in one day!

And I wonder if the delicateness of the leaves in Japan is somehow connected to the delicateness of the Japanese people and vice versa. These are the thinking process that’s going through my brain at times.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
